Shanghai Duolun Museum of Modern Art is pleased to announce the launch of Hyperspace Image at 15:00 on September 8, 2018. The exhibition comprises photography works, video and live performance by Zeng Han, Zhu Yingwen, Hu Wei, Tong Wenmin and Fu Qiang. The exhibition takes hyperspace as the clue and image as the medium to present the profound humanistic care in the art works.

As a matter of fact, human beings’ existing experience constantly evolves within time and space consciousness while concept about time and space progresses following the accumulation of knowledge and development of technology. Hyperspace Image refers to the new image that breaks the habitual consciousness and logic of time and space. A new channel to observe reality is offered with the presentation of new image.

Five artists are selected for this exhibition whose creation perspectives are disparate. Tong Wenmin makes juxtaposition of individual life, eternal space and time. Hu Wei traces and reveals the relationship of invisible system and actual world. Zhu Yingwen overlaps physical space and memory space. Zeng Han uses parody to integrate historic and current space. Fu Qiang carries out sociological survey at urban function space that will eventually disappears. Those hyperspace images the artists make rush our space and time concepts and values attached to these concepts that we are usually accustomed to.

This exhibition will last till October 21,2018.
