Since the 1860s, various metropolis around the world hosted modern art exhibitions that featured both international and local artists that not only challenge the . These artists include Henri Matisse and De Koonings, amongst many others, that exhibited their ground-breaking works.

The significance of the modern art exhibition, Transcend in today's Singapore's art scene is imperative in the demonstration of persevering art practise in Singapore. We invite you to come and witness the unfolding of uniquely Singaporean artworks by Singaporeans.

“The Singapore Spirit – Inclusiveness & Resilience”, organised by Bishan Park Secondary School, aims to showcase various artwork of our students as well as local young artists in Singapore Schools and Southbridge School, New Zealand.

An exciting array of different art media such as Batik, colour pencil, logos block and mixed media, have been explored by these young artists in their representations of “The Singapore Spirit”.
